A Mile In My Shoe

I've been using streamyx broadband for a couple of years now, and I've not been at all satisfied with the connection that I've been getting. On the recommendation of a colleague, I'm trying out the maxis wireless broadband (there's a free 30 day trial period). The speed of maxis is comparable to what i get on a good streamyx day. But there's this little quirk. If i were to open up more than 2 tabs one after another on my browser, there would be no connection at all. Weird.

The IT knowledge for Macs here in malaysia is pretty poor. All of the dudes who come to install my internet stuff do not know how to do so on a Mac. Useless i tell you, useless.

Today has been the extreme of emotions. I became an uncle again today. A proud uncle to a beautiful baby girl. Her name is Alex Xara Fernandez. She was born today 2nd of November 2006 at 11am and she left us at the same time. It would be unfair to say that I barely knew her for she has been with us for 9 months but I do wish I could have gotten to know her better. I know I couldn't have loved her more but I'm sure both me and my wife would have loved to be able to show it to her in other ways.

Things always happen for a reason, but sometimes we are allowed to not accept it. Acceptance will come when it suppose too I guess but sometimes you wish you had a road map too it. The journey begins today for me and my family. All we can do is help guide each other to that destination. My dearest Xara, I know you will be there to help us along the way.

I don't write often enough I believe but I'm going to try to. I'm very strange, because although my job is to talk to millions of people, I don't seem to know how to communicate well. Funny huh.
Today I just wanted to tell you what makes me happy. It's been the same thing for a long time now. My beautiful wife's smile.

It can brighten my day anytime. Anytime I'm down that's the best cure, but the funny thing is I'm so busy with work and it's brings me down sometime because I'm so tired, and by doing that I forget the simple thing that brings me most satisfaction.. her smile. So from this day forth I just want to make you smile Sweetheart iLOVEyou

Another year to look forward too. What will it bring? What will I learn? All these questions running in our heads. Looking back at 2005, sometime I don't believe I've achieved the things I've done. It might not be big to some but it's huge in my life.

The biggest thing for me and my wife was buying out first home .
Seeing it for the first time in May,
to the renovations , then moving in December.
I remember starting 2005, I never thought we would be able to get ourselves a home. I remember thinking about it, wishing for it but never imagine that it would be possible. Now I'm celebrating my first Christmas in my new home with my wife

As I look back on 2005 I remember my first wedding anniversary. My first year in my new slot. The advancement in my career, learning new things, I can't wait to see what 2006 will bring for me and my wife.
